There was a discussion on Slack/math-optimization recently about publishing optimization research in an open access journal (I can’t find the discussion any more). I would like to bring the journal Mathematical Programming Computation to your attention. Although it’s not quite clear on the Springer website, all articles are effectively open access and are available from http://mpc.zib.de. This journal should be of interest to the Julia community as we review the prose, the math and also the code. Thus your software can gain credibility by having been peer-reviewed, and your results reproduced. Please submit your best work to MPC! Feel free to ask me questions here. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll submit them to our editor in chief
