In the JuliaCon 2023 State of Julia talk the mode where the REPL can open your favourite $EDITOR was mentioned. I thought this was done using CTRL-E Did I misunderstand this?

No it’s Meta-E, it’s the last binding in the docs at The Julia REPL · The Julia Language. Although it doesn’t seem to work in VSCode for me.
