Rendering LaTeX animations in Pluto with Javis

The Javis documentation states that it is necessary to npm install -g mathjax-node-cli in order to render LaTeX animations. I am wondering if anyone has any recommendation for how best to do this so that I can render LaTeX animations within a Pluto environment.

I will likely look into this further at some point, so will come back here to answer if no one else has encountered this before. It may unfortunately require use of the local environment over the Pluto environment.

@LeePhillips Can you share your solution from https://pluton.lee-phillips.org/sliders/epicycles.html?

That notebook uses Javis for the animation, but doesn’t have any LaTeX in it. However, if you want to see the source of the notebook, it’s at https://lee-phillips.org/sliders/epicycles.jl
