The team I work with is looking for a postdoc in computational biology / microbiome research. We’re studying the relationships between the microbiome in infants with neurocognitive development, especially executive function.
The ad says that familiarity with amplicon / metagenomic sequencing techniques is required, but if you have strong statistics / machine learning background and familiarity with julia (and a willingness to learn), that could be enough. Also, a super strong candidate with only masters level of education but other relevant experience would also be considered.
