The Operations Research and Economics group in the department Sustainable Energy Technology at SINTEF Industry has open positions for research scientists. We have a wide portfolio of projects using Julia and JuMP in particular, but we also use other tools/languages in our group.
We develop models and perform analyses primarily in the following areas:
- Energy systems and zero emission technologies
- Circular economy and modelling of sustainability in decision support tools
- Value chain optimization
- Production and transport planning
We seek candidates with a background in:
- Optimization / Operational analysis
- Economics / Econometrics
- Modelling / Simulation / Data processing
