JuliaCon: The Podcast

Hi all,

as most of you probably know, Huda, Nathan, and I have started doing a podcast to accompany JuliaCon. In case you’re not already subscribed, you can find it on your favorite platform:

YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sECiJ59hPXg&list=PLP8iPy9hna6TXDX1I1hH_SM49zSxdnSYJ
Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/juliacon-the-podcast/id1525020518

Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4VEsZ6D9G2EEvJXmmZqgJF
RadioPublic: https://radiopublic.com/juliacon-the-podcast-G3MbZV
Breaker: https://www.breaker.audio/juliacon-the-podcast

After each episode, we invite you to fill out our feedback form at https://forms.gle/sdNGk84j3J1WB1or9 to tell us what you’d like to see on the show next.

We’re recording each episode live, and you’re invited to give live feedback.
The next recording session will be in the afternoon/evening Eastern on Tuesday. I will keep this thread updated for future recording sessions, so check back here.

Just a small suggestion: YouTube has (recently?) started to integrate timestamps from video descriptions directly in their player, so that one can hover the progress bar to see what topic each section of the video is covering, jump to the part of the video one may be interested in, etc. Here’s an example I saw recently.

If you could add similar timestamps to the descriptions of the podcast videos, that would be pretty sweet!

BTW, this is also something we’re considering doing for the BinaryBuilder workshop, to make it easier to navigate. It might be a good idea for all other workshops, too
