I first want to thank all the authors who have already chosen to submit papers to the JuliaCon 2019 proceedings.
Since this is the first time we are doing proceedings and we are still trying to determine what format suits JuliaCon best, we decided to extend the submission deadline to August 31st, 2019! Since submissions are handled as they come in please submit as early as possible.

I have also been asked if one can submit to the proceedings without presenting at JuliaCon, and while that is not possible for the proceedings, we are working on preparing a Special Issue (deadline late November) with papers from the Julia community that were not presented at JuliaCon.
