LCNeuro and MIT Julia Lab currently have a commitment from Silicon Valley philanthropists to support the development of a software platform for creating, simulating, and validating models of brain circuit dysregulation for psychiatric disorders (i.e., “computational psychiatry”). To produce a proof of concept of this platform in one year, we’ll be hiring 2-3 postdocs with deep expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- computational neuroscience
- control circuits/system identification
- dynamical systems
- scientific machine learning
Must be highly creative, analytical, and driven, with strong quantitative and (Julia) programming skills, and with a desire and ability to think across fields. Remote work acceptable for July 1 start date. To apply, please send cv and contact information for three references.
