Does JuliaHub have a plan to reach a billion-dollar valuation or is the current plan something else? (Or is it top secret?)
I understand that the Julia ecosystem still doesn’t have XYZ, and it might not be a good idea to have them now and spread out too thin. (It’s better to do 1 thing well than to be mediocre at 10 things.) but whenever the Julia community decides it seriously want something, it tends to do that really well.
I can only wish for your success.

I’m sure @viralbshah could add more, but there aren’t any big secrets here. It’s all in the products page of our homepage. There’s:
- The JuliaHub platform itself, enabling cluster/cloud compute with an eye towards package development, collaboration, regulated industries, reproducibility, and security (including air-gapped deployments). What’s available on .com when you log in is a subset of what we deploy as Team and Enterprise subscriptions for companies.
- Domain-specific libraries and applications, targeting SciML uses across multiple industries. This includes JuliaSim (soon to be renamed, stay tuned) and our partnership with Pumas-AI… and they are built to work atop the platform.
- Julia support for fundamental use-cases; this has included things like external threads and some of the ongoing work towards static compilation… as well as what our platform and SciML teams have needed to enable the above
