The Julia Language selected to be a part of GSoC 2020

Hey all! We are delighted to announce that the Julia Langauge has been accepted into Google’s Summer of Code Program once again. In this program, University students will:

Spend their summer break writing code and learning about open source development while earning a stipend! Accepted students work with a mentor and become a part of the open-source community. Many even become lifetime open source developers!
Google Summer of Code is open to university students, age 18 and older in most countries.

Check out the Julia Languages page on the GSoC website to learn more about participating as a mentor or student: Google Summer of Code

If you have questions, feel free to drop by the jsoc channel on Slack or send an email to jsoc@julialang.org

Hey, head over to the #jsoc channel on slack. Many of the projects also have mentors listed so you can reach out to those mentors via Slack. Hope this helps!
