Hey all, you should now be able to post about and host an event here on Discourse! Create a new post, click the gear icon (Setting icon), and then click “Create Event”. All users with the “Member” trust level should be able to create these new events.
Here is a sample event:
You can also see a calendar of events in the top right, click the three vertically stacked lines, then click “Upcoming events”.
This new calendar feature will hopefully work in conjunction with the community calendar on the website: https://julialang.org/community/#events
