JuliaCon Global 2026 Videos

We are in the process of uploading all individual talks to YouTube

We currently have access to the full cut 4K videos for the first full conference day (Wednesday) and should be complete uploading those videos by the end of the day. Here’s a breakdown of the process here:

  1. As we receive the cut videos we will upload them to our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@TheJuliaLanguage as unlisted videos. An unlisted video has a stable link, and may be viewed by anyone with that link but won’t show up as a “public” video and be posted to the homepage or show up in your feed.
  2. The PreTalx page for each talk will be updated with a link to this unlisted video as shown for example here: Haskell: origins, evolution, and future by Simon Peyton Jones :: JuliaCon 2026 :: pretalx. Speakers may receive a notification that their proposal has been modified with this link, and we will send out an email blast to all speakers once video uploads have completed about this link.
  3. Videos will be scheduled for release at a rate of 4 videos per day.
  4. When a video is released it will show up on the YouTube channel homepage and appear in subscriber and recommended feeds.
  5. Upon release the video will be posted to the JuliaCon BlueSky and X channels. In addition at the end of each day a digest of the videos released that day will be commented in this thread.

As the digest is posted here please feel free to comment or interact here in addition to commenting on the YouTube channel or interacting with posts on our other social media channels.

FAQ:

  • When will my video be uploaded? If your talk was on the first day (Wednesday) then it should be uploaded within 24-48 hours, and linked to the PreTalx page for that session. I do not have a current ETA for the Thursday and Friday videos.
  • When will my video be released? Videos, except for main stage, are scheduled at random.
  • There is an issue with an upload/thumbnail/etc Please send an email to juliacon@julialang.org
