Is Flexible Julia Plugin Free for Students?

Hi, I wanted to get some clarification about the Flexible Julia plugin for JetBrains IDEs. This post states that

Though not entirely free, we still want everybody to participate. So the plugin should be free for open source projects and students, and 50% off for non-profits and startups.

However, even with the full Jetbrains educational pack, I can’t seem to activate the plugin without buying a license (other than free trial). Am I missing something here on how to activate the plugin, or is it not free for educational purposes anymore?
Thanks,

Oh it is still free. But I heard that before. In most cases people struggle to find the right button. Can you go to the website and log in, then try it there? The buttons should be clear when you are logged in:

You might also try going on step further - there is an overview page before you purchase anything so it is rather safe as long as you don’t enter any payment infos. It should say 0 on the total if you are on the educational license.

Let me know if you have any problems with it. If you continue to, let me know and contact me via your university email address and I am happy to send you a voucher for a license. But try the other way first, because mine only lasts a year and with JetBrains you get it for as long as your work lasts and a discount afterwards.

Going into the marketplace when logged in worked great, thank you very much!

Phew. I am glad!

If you like my work, please leave a review - it helps tremendously:

Not enough people do, but it is an immensely important indicator for newcomers on the marketplace. And tell your friends - everyone in academia continues to get it for free.
