i just saw the video! its very good
although i have one question, why is it published as a youtube short? wouldnt it be better as a normal video? but maybe i am wrong, anyway, i think its very good for exposing people to flexible Julia, and maybe ill copy the idea to JulIDE (or not since my voice is horrible xD).
anyway, good job and i would be happy to see more of those ![]()
Thanks. I actually just reused my existing tiktok channel - YouTube is just a byproduct but I figured it would be more accessible over here. Also, last time I tried YouTube published my < 2min videos as shorts anyway
Good idea but it’s hard to see the small fonts in the IDE on a normal browser (not youtube on a phone). If you want to keep the “tiktok aspect ratio”, maybe use the virtual magnifier next time ?
That’s a great idea. Thanks
I just uploaded an introduction video to youtube - this time optimized for desktop viewers:
very good video ![]()
it actually made me want to try it out even tho i dont usually use jet brains IDEs, so ill do just that ![]()
then it served its purpose. Thanks!
And you should - if not for “research”. You should be able to get the community edition of PyCharm for free (and may even qualify for their student/faculty program). Check out Is Flexible Julia Plugin Free for Students?
