Cognibotics is looking for an experienced Julia programmer!

We are looking for someone with a computer science (or related) background and the following experience:

  • Design of software libraries and APIs in Julia.
  • Familiarity with writing type stable and high-performance code in Julia.
  • C programming.
  • Familiarity with the Julia ecosystem of packages.
  • Real-time and or concurrent programming.
  • Git for version control and collaboration.

Other desirable experience:

  • Robotics and control
  • Dynamical systems

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

The candidate must be fluent in Swedish or English.

You probably know this already: the Julia simulation and controls stack is getting totally revamped with ModelingToolkit.jl (docs, video). Caveat: it’s under heavy development so maybe not quite stable for production. Last year I wrote a brief sensorimotor control tutorial in Julia and am looking to update it to use ModelingToolkit.jl
