This is the start of a new series: The Munich-Social series. We want to meet in-person and do some Julia stuff together.

Munich-Social: Google’s Coding Competitions with Julia

Let’s use Julia on some well-prepared example problems. We want to take a grasp at Google’s Coding Competitions. That itself is fun, and maybe you yourself may one day win a position on a Google Competitions’ leaderboard 
.
We will together solve some problems from the kickstart competitions. You may want to create an account at Kick Start - Google’s Coding Competitions, but it is not required as all competition information will be shared.
Preparation

• bring your laptop 
• install Julia 1.8 on your system. You can download it from Download Julia
• install VSCode with julia extension. See Julia in Visual Studio Code for instructions.
