Hey everyone. I just submitted this issue about the latency of RemoteREPL. I just wanted to put a post out here, to say that any help would be appreciated, as I do not know anything about how to fix this, and it seems like @c42f is the only one looking into my ever-growing list of issues over there.
The TL;DR for the problem is that it seems like any call to a remote Julia process incurs an overhead of 40-50 ms. My unqualified intuition is that it should be possible to do that better. It would be great if someone could a) tell me it is not possible, b) confirm that it is, or ideally c) help reduce the latency.
