Other programming languages (Ruby, Python, Go, Rust) have their de facto standard way to install applications (executables) but as far as I know, Julia doesn’t have it. I know frequent booting and exiting of Julia interpreter is not good for performance but some standardization of sharing applications written in Julia will be useful for the Julia community. What do you think?
