Scientific Software Engineer at Cervest (London, UK ± 1 timezone)

Our team is looking for a number of Scientific Software Engineers as we release our product to market. Cervest is a certified B corporation, focusing a new market sector: Climate Intelligence.

As a Scientific Software Engineer, you’ll be working with the science team as we release our latest product EarthScan, which is an automated climate risk impact discovery tool that measures the impact of climate change on physical assets for any timescale and any scenario, anywhere on Earth.

The primary language of the science team is Python, although more and more Julia code is coming on board each week (personal note: I’m pushing this quite hard ). We do have a few key skills we are looking for (see the full description in the job posting link below), but are open to hiring from a diverse range of backgrounds. No formal education is necessary if you can showcase your technical ability for example.

For further details, please take a look at the job posting, and feel free to get in touch with me personally here if you’d like to ask some informal questions.
