I’m looking to hire two software engineers for my team (Research Engineering) at Temple Capital, a quant fund primarily trading cryptocurrencies. Temple Capital has 10 engineers, is fully remote and distributed around the world, and has been operating since 2017.
My team uses Julia as our primary language and currently has 3 engineers, including me. We focus primarily on building infrastructure to make it easy for researchers to run a lot of experiments while keeping AWS costs low. The most important technical skill for the job is the ability to write fast, memory efficient code. You should be used to profiling, thinking about memory allocations, data locality, and multithreading.
