Senior Python and/or Julia Software Engineer with strong SQL skills
As the Senior Python/Julia Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing core software assets that perform data integration. Working as part of an agile team with an entrepreneurial approach, you’ll collaborate with specialists across the business to develop best-in-class systems.
What you will do
• Develop and implement data pipelines and integrations for risk management applications.
• Perform transformation and loading of data according to the business specifications.
• Define, prepare, execute, and implement data validation and unit testing methods to ensure data quality.
• Develop and maintain scripts used by automated build, deployment, and packaging systems.
• Adopt and implement best practices and champion an engineering culture emphasizing DevOps and CI/CD principles.
What you will bring
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Proficiency in Python
• Proficiency in SQL and database development; preferably Oracle and Snowflake.
• Experienced in the use of unit testing frameworks.
• Experienced in the use of modern configuration management and build tools (GitHub, Jenkins)
• Familiarity with Containers and Virtualization technologies (Docker, VM)
Experience with the following is desirable:
• AWS services: S3, SQS, Lambda, CDK
• Autosys
• Julia Lang
