Hello! I will be submitting to JuliaCon 2025 a 30-minute talk proposal on a package I develop as part of my day job. I’m also interested in submitting a lightning talk, “experience,” or poster on a recreational Julia side project I have. If my recreational presentation is accepted, will that reduce the likelihood of my main talk getting accepted? Is there a way to notate that priority should be given to the main talk? Thanks!
My question was answered via email — the answer is no, acceptance of one proposal on one track does not affect the chances of another proposal on another track; reviews are anonymous and independent.
