New Julia Podcast: The Julia Dispatch! First Guest: Tim Holy on Revise, Package Compilation, and More

Repository seems to be GitHub - JuliaDispatch/juliadispatch.fm: Podcast website if you want to contribute (funnily enough I had to guess the name of the organisation, didn’t find it on the website itself)

Fantastic podcast! I’m totally in awe of CR and Tim. Love to hear more about threads, processes, parallel and distributed computing. Also deterministic real-time code for controlling stuff.

These are good ideas. Right now, we’re super busy with editing episodes which are in the pipeline and recording more episodes. The website will get some more attention eventually and I’ll definitely keep these suggetions in mind.

… or, you’ll send us a PR and we’ll look at it much earlier

I’ve recently gotten into Julia and it’s great to see a new podcast being launched! Would be great to be able to sub on Overcast whenever you get the chance to set that up. Looking forward to more episodes.
