I have written this package ThreadedSparseCSR.jl some time ago. It is supposed to work with the CSR sparse matrices defined in SparseMatricesCSR.jl.
I have no idea how the package would work in Apple machines. But it would be really nice if you could test it and share your results in this thread [ANN] Announcing ThreadedSparseCSR.jl
