We’ve got a new lectureship (=assistant prof, though permanent contract) available at the University of Bristol, UK, focused on data-driven mathematical modelling for industrially-focused problems. The host department is Engineering Mathematics which is quite a broad department that includes applied mathematics, AI/ML (“intelligent systems”), robotics, and mathematical biology (including some people who do modelling coupled with wet lab synthetic biology).
