Think it would be awesome for people from all around the world to start preparing for a “Learn Julia in July” event in your local area.
I plan to run a meetup meeting called “Learn Julia in July” next year.
I originally learned julia by hooking on to Exegetic Analysis’ Month of Julia , a series of daily blog posts on julia (3.1) and its package ecosystem. It was a really nice way to get introduced and feel we explored the language together. I think the guy more or less took a month off just to learn the language and write the posts, but something smaller inspired by this in july would be a nice idea
