Juno complains about 'scl' on Linux when adding packages

I get the following complaint from Juno repeatedly.

sh: module: line 1: syntax error: unexpected end of file
sh: error importing function definition for `module'
sh: scl: line 1: syntax error: unexpected end of file
sh: error importing function definition for `scl'

It seems to happen when ever I try to install packages. It inhibited installation of Juno completely until I opened a separate terminal to install the relevant packages. Perhaps this is related to the version of scl-utils I have installed (scl-utils-2.0.2)?

Apparently removing scl-utils is a workaround. See here for some more info on that and here for the underlying issue.

Hmm, its a shame the best solution is to kill the environment-modules package as I use that to manage different julia version. Thanks for the speedy and accurate reply on this issue @pfitzseb.
