Juliacon live, youtube restricted mode

Hello all,

The juliacon live videos won’t play for me (the offline ones do), the banner claims that they won’t play in restricted mode on youtube. I cannot turn off restricted mode on youtube (I tried, but I am at work, and I am guessing this is imposed by our network). Is there a way around this, or a way to mark the live feeds as safe for restricted mode?

According to the post I read on the YouTube support page, there are a series of automatic checks that take place when a video is uploaded. I turned on restricted mode and could still see all of the current videos (but it might be stopping the live streams as you mentioned). There isn’t a way around that, unfortunately.
