Join us on 26–27 March 2026 at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
We are organizing a workshop to meet researchers using Julia to solve PDEs. A central theme will be to align efforts within the community, learn from each other, and identify opportunities for collaboration. The event will feature keynote talks by representatives of Julia packages in this space such as Ferrite.jl, Gridap.jl, ImplicitGlobalGrid.jl, Mantis.jl, Trixi.jl, and WaterLily.jl, as well as contributed talks by the community.
The workshop is hosted by the team developing GalerkinToolkit.jl, an ongoing effort to build a multi-platform finite element library in Julia. The program will feature the project’s first public demo tutorial.
Abstract deadline: 1 Feb 2026 Registration deadline: 8 Mar 2026
If you work with Julia, PDEs, numerical methods, or scientific computing, come to connect and collaborate.
Also would really try to make it (or send one of my colleagues). However exactly during these dates we have our “institute days” with more or less mandatory presence. Do you take in online presentations ?
