Minisymposium on Partial Differential Equations and its Applications (Juliacon 2026)

We are eager to receive talk contributions for our minisymposium on partial differential equations (PDE) at Juliacon 2026. The minisymposium will cover everything that relates to Julia and PDEs, including but not limited to

  1. Solver tools: sparsity handling, automatic differentiation, linear and nonlinear system solvers.
  2. Efficiency: GPUs, MPIs, any other parallelization or optimization tools/techniques.
  3. Applications: science, engineering, health, finance etc.
  4. Methods: all types of space and time discretizations.
  5. User tools: pre- and post-processing, visualization, debugging, benchmarking etc.
  6. Packages: introductions, overviews or status updates of any package related to PDEs.

We will also hold an open panel to discuss infrastructure needs, identify gaps, and coordinate development efforts to advance the ecosystem.

You can find our abstract at Julia for Partial Differential Equations and its Applications :: JuliaCon 2026 :: pretalx. Submissions can be made through JuliaCon 2026 Call for Proposals. The deadline is February 28 2026.

Feel free to reach out to us (@j-fu, @Marco_Artiano, @Arpit_Babbar, @termi-official) about any questions, also about deciding whether this minisymposium suits you.
