I can login on Discord following the link, but cannot comment on the channels. I can only see the #welcome channel. When I try to claim my account it asks for a password, but I don’t remember my password for last year. There is no button to reset password via email.
Anyone experiencing similar issue?

I’m not sure if there anything preventing you from creating a new account if you have the link, but I may be wrong.
Yeah, I hit something similar. I just changed my email to mbauman+2022 because I didn’t feel like taking the time to figure it out. It’s a workaround.
