Julia Computing offers the JuliaInXL package - Julia integration with Microsoft Excel:

But at the same time, there is no such option for LibreOffice. Allowing the integration of Julia on par with Python scripting will help the adoption in some areas, like government usage, where LibreOffice increasingly popular, easing statistical computations.

So I created a feature request at Document Foundation bug tracker, proposing the official support for scripting with Julia.

The feature request was closed with a won't fix, because they think it should be implemented as an extension and not in base.
