Installing Julia 1.4.2 in Ubuntu. Invalid Instruction?

I downloaded and extracted Julia-1.4.2 for Linux in an Ubuntu 20 computer following the instructions on the download page. I tried to run the Julia command inside the bin directory and I receive a long message starting with:
Invalid instruction at 0x7f85c76f59f8: 0x66,…
I installed and run many versions before without any problems and after downloading the new version I can not run any version. Any ideas what could be happening?

Thanks. It seems it is, since my computer is an old AMD Anthlon.
