IJulia weird problem on Win 10, v. 1903

I use IJulia (recent version) on Julia v. 1.2.0 for 64bit Windows 10, latest update.

I have the weirdest problem with IJulia… but only sometimes. Here is what happens:

  • Shift-return doesn’t execute Code cells, but shift-return executes Markdown cells
  • However, putting the cursor in a Code cell and clicking on the right arrow button works, image

The weird thing is that this only happens sometimes – other times, there is no problem.

Anyone has experienced the same? (And found a solution?) I have seen it on my laptop (MS Surface Book 2) and on my home computer (Asus mini PC).
