Good practice question: where do you save custom sysimages built using PackageCompiler

Hi,

I was wondering what is a good place to store custom sysimages built using the PackageCompiler? Is it okay to store in somewhere in ~/.julia or should that be left alone for julia generated files (except startup.jl)?
