We have a small surplus left over from JuliaCon this year, and want to spend some of it on reimbursing costs for a few community events throughout the year.
We currently have set a budget of 5000 USD, and are hoping to fund things like pizzas for a meetup, meals during a hackathon etc. We think we should limit each event (one time or recurring) to 1000 USD for the year. Funds will be distributed as reimbursements via NumFOCUS.
