I read somewhere that if I set the Plots attribute overwrite_figure=true
, the previous plot would not visibly erase (and the Jupyter notebook cell output would remain in position) so that I could get an animation-like effect without preparing a GIF stack. It doesn’t seem to be working for me, on Julia 0.6.2 running the notebook in Safari on macOS 10.12.6. I’m using the GR backend.
Any suggestions?
