Discourse site interaction changed / not working

In the past 2-3 weeks, the user interaction of the Discourse site in my web browser has changed and does not seem to work as expected.

Previously I could click on the New topics to get the list, then sort by number of replies, and then click the topics to read, back arrow to return to the New sorted listing and then click on the next topic, until done.

Now, the back arrow no longer takes me to the New sorted list but just the original unsorted one. In some cases it doesn’t even return to the New page and instead returns to the top level of Discourse. The problem appears on both Firefox and Chrome.

Did the web machinery change for Discourse?

Has anyone else observed this problem?

Any ideas for debug or fixing?

Thanks!,
Chris

Do you see the same thing if you’re in the safe mode?

https://discourse.julialang.org/safe-mode

The safe mode link gives this error:

Oops! That page doesn’t exist or is private.

It does not error for me. Seems like you must have some problems with your account?

Hunh, strange. What about:

https://discourse.julialang.org/?safe_mode=no_custom%2Cno_plugins%2Conly_official

The back arrow doesn’t work at all.

Sure enough, for me too. I’ll report it at the main Discourse board. Edit:

The discourse team found the bug and fixed it! It’s working for me; let me know if you’re still having trouble.

It is working for me as well. Thanks!
