Is anyone currently maintaining this package?
Should we mark this package as deprecated in the registry?
If we do this, we need to protect the alternative. Is this XML.jl?
@joshday says “I need to step back from finishing this PR and maintaining XML in the foreseeable future.”. So that package is also looking for a new maintainer. @joshday recommends bringing the package into JuliaData. It is not yet clear whether either of these can be achieved.
Yes it looks like there is more interest in helping to maintain and test XML.jl
From what I can tell the only person that is in both JuliaComputing and JuliaData to transfer XML.jl is @StefanKarpinski
