Can I persuade vscode NOT to autocomplete keywords?

It insists on completing for instance end. Very annoying.
I cannot find any setting to control this. But, perhaps there is a trick?

This seems to be controlled in VS Code by IntelliSense. Search for this in Settings and under Text Editor see if unchecking some option helps. Ex: Editor: Suggest: Show Keywords (uncheck)
