I updated packages and saw the #sd-fixAMD push come through.
The original example works perfectly and the contour plot looks to be correct:

@dalarev this actually looks like a really productive thread. Lot’s of great MWE examples. I would highly suggest refining the SO post you made earlier given that it was not at all as clear as this thread was!
