Submission deadline 15-October-2018.
Acceptance deadline 15-March-2019.

The special issue in the journal Advances in Engineering Software is coming together: three papers have already been published, and three more are in production (Advances in Engineering Software | Julia, a high-level, high-performance dynamic programming language for numerical computing | ScienceDirect.com by Elsevier).
The papers are behind a paywall, but at least one article has appeared on arxiv and I am confident that the authors would share a private copy if requested.
