Iām very excited to share that our recent Medical Physics paper has just been published along with the corresponding package: PrismMaterialDecomposition.jl.
PrismMaterialDecomposition.jl is a Julia package for regularized material decomposition of medical planar dual-energy kV X-ray images, with an emphasis on edge-preserving noise-reduction and GPU-based real-time performance (CUDA.jl and Metal.jl). It provides local and non-local regularization models, along with pre- and post-decomposition utilities for image quality analysis and visualization.
A big thank you to the developers and maintainers of the Julia packages we built upon to make this possible (in particular LinearSolve.jl, Krylov.jl, SciMLOperators.jl, CUDA.jl and Metal.jl) and the people of this forum that helped me!
