Hi folks!
Have an announcement to make:
We have a public JuliaHealth Blog now! There is not much on the blog at this time beyond us just now having the dedicated space. It is built using quarto and each blog post can be its own Julia project – meaning, reproducible environments per blog post! At some point, we may move over the broader JuliaHealth website to this format, but I will make a PR that links the website to the blog.
Additionally, consider this an open call for contributions to the blog! As of now, I am working on a blog post for some observational health research inspired by some work with @Jakub_Mitura (see photo), @Jay-sanjay is working on one for his GSoC experiences, and @00krishna is working on a blog post (alongside Michela Rochetti) regarding visualizing IPUMS census microdata.
We are still working out the exact contribution process, but please fork the blog, write your post within posts , and share what you are thinking in a PR! We are particularly interested in applications of Julia for health research, analysis, exploration, and beyond! Thanks all!
