Using SNOPT in Julia

Hi All!
I have been trying to set up the optimization package SNOPT in Julia.
I tried with SNOW.jl, and SNOPT.jl but I did not succeed to set up the packages and get them to work.
I tried in Linux (Ubuntu).
Does anyone know how to set things up?
Linux or Windows tips are all very welcome.

P.S. SNOPT is an optimization software written in Fortran. Once purchased, as I did, one receives the fortran source files.

The authors of SNOPT wrote GitHub - snopt/SNOPT7.jl: Julia interface for SNOPT7 some time ago, but unfortunately, it seems to be unmaintained. A solid Julia interface to SNOPT would be a great asset.
