Taking this topic further for my own education please.

It doesn’t ultimately matter if a program works in REPL only.
It of course must run as a script in CLI - ie - as it would be in the wild.
My plot (for ex - parabola function) displays in REPL but does not
open backend to display when used with CLI - I’ve tried gr / plotly, etc
So I alter the program to generate a .png or .htlml file which is saved.
Again, isn’t this really how it would be done by a true developer? It
seems that the generated plot (as a file) would be preferable, if not
necessary, compared to REPL simply displaying it for a first check?
