Us-west.pkg.julialang.org is down. How to switch to east?

I cannot reach us-west.pkg.julialang.org, and it appears to be down: Us-west.pkg.julialang.org down? Current problems and status.

How can I temporarily switch to https://us-east.pkg.julialang.org/?

Edit: as a hack workaround, I resorted to modifying my /etc/hosts file:

151.101.198.217 pkg.julialang.org
151.101.198.217 us-west.pkg.julialang.org

since ping us-east.pkg.julialang.org returns that IP.
