it’s a front-end to a microsimulation of the fiscal system of Scotland. It lets you play at being the Finance Minister: you can manipulate income taxes and state benefits and get detailed information on costings, numbers gaining and losing, changes to incentives to work, rates of poverty, and inequality.
This is a relatively simple front-end in Dash, one of a series I have planned. Another one explores household budget constraints - the very complex relationship between the amount you earn and how much your household ends up with, after taxes are deducted and benefits added.
