As everyone knows that current AI was dominated by Pytorch, Tensorflow, and Jax, so there seems little chance for Julia in the Deep Learning field. A lot of people think that current deep learning is not intelligent, it will not lead us to General Intelligence. There is a new trend called NeuroAI which looks promising, fortunately, there are still no killer apps like Pytorch exist in this field. Maybe it is a good time for Julia’s community to promote Julia to the NeuroAI and neuroscience community.
When I check the Hierarchical Temporal Memory code base of Numenta, founded by Jeff Hawkins. It has two Closure projects and 1 Go project but no Julia.
