Is there any concrete performance gain from building Julia from source locally? If yes, does anyone have ballparks for expected speedup and tips for navigating Julia’s Make.inc with performance-oriented options?
I have noticed building from source automatically sets MARCH to native, which should provide a speedup compared to juliaup’s installation.
